Julie is a fully insured, diploma qualified reflexologist, who trained at the Phoenix College for Holistic and Complementary Therapy.

 

 Julie started Barefoot in the Barn in April 2025. Having worked as an operating theatre nurse since 1984, Julie felt she needed a change of direction and began reflexology training in February 2024. She continues to work part time in her NHS role.

 

Julie believes both roles complement each other well, allowing her to bring skills from her nursing background into her reflexology practice. This new direction enables her to do what she loves most - helping people. 

 

When Julie isn't working, she enjoys reading, travelling with her partner and spending time with her two young grandsons.
